Classes to be held
January 22-February 21, 2009

Association

The CT GreenPrep Program is designed to provide both new and potential employees of the Green Industry with plant care basics. The program will consist of 5 lecture/discussion sessions held at the University of Connecticut, Greater Hartford campus and 4 hands-on sessions to be held at Green Industry businesses in the Greater Hartford area. Classes are held each Thursday from 7 to 9 pm and each Saturday in from 10 am until 12 pm.

You’ll be taught by both UConn instructors and by green industry teachers, who are experts in their fields.  Classes will meet both at UConn Campus. Greater Hartford and on-site in actual greenhouses, nurseries, landscapers and garden centers in the central CT area.  You must be at least 16 years old. Students will be tested at the course end and receive a certificate.  Names of graduates will be given to prospective employers.
